On first launch, Trust6 asks you to sign in to your account: the one created when you accepted your invitation.

Two ways to sign in

  • Email code: enter your address, receive a one-time code, type it in. No password to remember.
  • Password: if you set one for your account, it works too.

Use the same email address as your invitation: that address carries your alpha access.

Why sign in, in a local app?

Your data stays local: vaults, conversations, files and tokens never leave your machine. The account serves exactly three purposes:

  1. Verifying your alpha access (licence).
  2. Giving you managed models with zero configuration.
  3. Receiving usage telemetry: counters, never content.

AI send features require a valid account session. Without one, the app says so clearly and blocks the send rather than improvising.

Offline

Once signed in, you get a 7-day offline grace period: no panic on a plane or at a client site without network. Fully local features (detection, extraction, the reading sheet, browsing your vaults) work without a network anyway.

Signing out

Signing out closes the account session, nothing more: your vaults and their contents stay on your machine, encrypted, intact. Sign back in and everything is there.
